I've been learning cw, and that has bled over to my son, Samuel (5yo). When he came home from daycare (and now kindergarten). I would ask him what he learned today, and he would tell me "letter a" or "number 9" and I would playfully ask him if he knew what it was in morse code. And then I started telling him his name. Last week, he wanted to watch TV when he got home and I just casually told him "not until you've spelled your name in morse code". Then he looked at me a got 5/6 of the letters right and in the correct order! I realize everyone's kid is the smartest kid....but I believe Samuel has a bright future ahead of him!
