There is a method where you can post files, etc. to the list.  They just aren't available in one's emails.  I am subscribed to several .io groups.  While they serve a purpose, I find signing up, figuring out which email account you're going to use and which ones control your accounts to be maddening.  I'm happy with the current system even though I can't see my own posts which apparently no one has been able to figure out.  But, I would flog myself and attempt to join an .io group if ADXA wants to switch.

Thanks Charles.

I do now see there is a “free” option for less than 100, which would fit ADXA, but no files or photos can be attached to the emails.

Subject: Re: [ADXA] groups.io

I'm a member of several groups.io groups and a moderator on a couple.  I can only speak for the groups I moderate but there is no monthly fee for mine.  All the groups I associate with are less than 10 or so members so I don't know if that is a factor or not.

You may recall (or may not) some months ago we discussed whether we should move our ADXA email reflector over the newer email platform “groups.io”. This wasn’t a priority so its been on the back burner. This morning I investigated and it appears it would cost ADXA $20/month for the service. I did not see a “free” service that would support our group.

For those who are more familiar with groups.io than I am, is this correct or am I missing something.

I’m not in favor of paying $20/month for an email service as long as our current service is functional (somewhat!)
