>From 1960 to 1992 I had the same B&W Model 375 Protax which grounded the unused antennas and was considered excellent.
Setting up here in Searcy six years ago, I installed two Alpha Deltas with the built in ARC-PLUG and also grounds the unused. I am setting up a backup 13.8 volt (FT-DX101-MP is 50 volt) Kenwood TS-2000 160M-440 station with two more. I think they're the only
decent quality left but are having supplier troubles. I bought a used two-position with a broken knob and wrote A-D for a replacement. He directed me to a Davies available on Amazon.
"We're having several issues with our contract manufacturer and various switch component vendors so you're lucky to get a switch right now. Our waiting list is long.
I have tried them all, Daiwa, Diamond, Alpha-Delta and many others. All
have failed at one point or another. It seems to be manufacturing
faults. The reviews on Eham reflect the problems. The next step up that
I can find are Birds which might cost $700 and up used. Not built for
use in the typical shack. I have Googled extensively and I can't seem
to find anything other than cheap and uber expensive. If anyone has any
suggestions, I'd like to hear them.
