Since we're going back to prehistoric days, here's K5FUV, 1960. All the best operators in the 60's wore white shirt and tie to operate,the magazines showed that.
The only thing I have left from those days is the J-38 key and the cigar box.
For W5DM: a drag bike enthusiast might remember the "Double Trouble" drag bike from the 50's and 60's. A twin Triumph bike, it was owned by Bill Koch, originally from Paris who went to California. It was the dominant bike of the day, I used to see it in the magazines. He moved back to Paris, and would occasionally fire it up on the street. He did exhibition runs for several years in this area.
