To give you an idea why we are having such hard time, my friends in Finland say that zs8w (15 - 10m) hovered around +25 dB today there but they were only getting back reports like -15 dB. I am hearing him mostly around -10 dB but sometimes peaking around 0 dB. Spent 4 hours of continuous calling 15m today.... and still continuing. I also heard him last night on 30m but no cigar there either. He was on 40m too but couldn't hear him - terrible QRN here.

And to top things, it seems that the same gremlins that sabotaged Athos and now working on zs8w :-(
