My light hexbeam mast has survived storms and the tornado last spring. It was bent pretty badly after that and I replaced it with a new pole (chain link fence top rail). We’ve had sustained 30+ MPH winds since last weekend with gusts well above that. This morning the 10’ pole bent at the stand pipe and allowed the antenna to gently rest on the ground. Hopefully no damage done to the antenna.

Losing some shingles, so trying to get the roof repaired before thunderstorms this weekend. Minor damage but more on the To Do List.

Meanwhile the possum haw in the photo is in bloom along with Serviceberry Trees and daffodils. Redbuds and Dogwoods will be next. Hope everyone else escapes damage from the most recent winds this week and has a calm start to April.

BTW, I picked up V6WG last night for an ATNO. He confirmed instantly on LOTW. Made my day.

Fair winds and good DX,
