Our local church's email systems had trouble a while back, and they recommended saving their address in the address book with our individual email service or adding them to a "white list" and I think those that followed that advice fixed the problem. I don't know, but I haven't heard anything else about it.

I found out when I was piddling with my email address that it was way easier to let an accredited company handle all of the anti spam and anti scam check and processing that it was to do that on my own. (In other words, lately, there have been an extra push to limit spam mail and scam mail...although it still finds my inbox from time to time).

I suspect it is not a problem with the reflector but a problem with gmail.
I am having similar problems with the reflector for the local club and it is on a completely different platform.
I am also having problems with some direct emails to gmail accounts.
I am forced to use my gmail to get messages through and cant get them through from real email addresses.

Thanks everyone. This is good feedback.

Just so you are aware, we are looking into moving to a more modern email reflector system, like groups.io, or something. This has NOT, repeat NOT been decided yet but is being investigated. We’ll keep the ADXA folks updated.

I keep having to reverify senders on the reflector, the error is cannot verify sender, of course that’s especially at play when a piece has been replied to several times, and the issue isn’t just the adxa’s reflector, it’s all I’m a member of.

My Gmail email address doesn’t seem to ever go through the reflector.  I just use this free account on proton mail to send things and so far has worked just fine.

This one came through, Rick.

We are starting to see more issues with our current email reflector system. The ADXA board had a discussion about this earlier this week. We’re looking into options.
