It’s looking like I may have won the CQ 160m Contest! Almost as excited as if I tuned across a lonely P5 station, worked him and later found out he was legit. 😀. You never know until the results are final, however. CT9ABP submitted his log as Assisted. That was my biggest worry.
I have worked it six times from here. In previous five times I finished 2nd four times and 3rd once.
This year, although conditions were not the greatest, they were VERY good, especially for this time in the solar cycle.
A new antenna planned and put up the day of the contest seemed to work pretty well. You can read my story about all that here.
