My wonderful neighbor of 20+ years has moved into an apartment after his wife passed away back around Thanksgiving. His house and property are just listed for sale today. It is a good DX location.

My home is next door and I’ve done well with DX since becoming a ham in 2019 with wires and a hexbeam. His property is similarly situated: about 1300 feet msl, which the same elevation as the Rogers airport to the NW with some hills and hollers between. We are ½ mile up the hill from Beaver Lake at Monte Ne arm. We are about four miles from downtown Rogers and are outside the city limits.
The property just became available and I suspect it will not be on the market long. It’s a large house and shop and would probably be suitable for a small tower. (Although you’d have to check the distance to the airport and regulations???) There was some damage to the house and property during the tornado last spring—mostly tree damage. (We had most of the trees cut down around our house about 3-4 years ago and didn’t have any damage on the house.)
Anyway, just thought I’d throw that out there if anyone is considering the area.
