Subject: Re: [ADXA] Comparison of Vertical Arrays For Low Band Receiving
Wow Joel! Thanks for sharing.
It sure was enjoyable to read. Your style of writing takes a highly technical subject and makes it accessible for the masses. That's a rarity in ham radio.

Greeting ADXA Folks,
There has been some discussion on our reflector about 160 meter antennas and propagation. As most of you know that is a topic near and dear to my radio heart. I completed a paper on receive antenna comparison that is just now being distributed, and I have been invited to present it at the Dayton Hamvention Antenna Forum in May. It is now on my website and you may find it here:

It is based on over 17 years of work with low band receive antennas and empirical data collected over a 10 year period to compare antennas. It provides some good guidance on evaluating antennas, especially for low band receiving.
