The reinstalled btk sync did work.  Coincidentally, the only signal on 24.912 is F4ANC and he is off by 1.4 sec. so I didn't think it was working. I went up to 24.915 and it's right on!

I have Iran on 15M SSB in 1979 and, more recently, 10M FT8, so this would have been a band counter.  Oh well.  I had more than my share of chances to get EP4HR!
