Last year, I had the woods bush-hogged in October and installed elevated radials for the 80M verticals and 160M Inverted-L.  This year, I removed the radials at the end of September but it was extremely dry in October with burn bans, etc, so the bush-hog man couldn’t come as promised.   That was fine - I have no desire to have a fire.  He came on Friday and the 80M verticals are again ready for action.   They are also my 30M antennas.

In the process, I discovered the source of the intermittent connection in one of the verticals.  It was a bad PL-259 shield soldering job (by someone else).

I didn’t get 160 done but I was happy to be able to do this relatively minor project.

Congratulations to everyone making impressive gains in their totals!
