Thanks, George.  I neglected to add the screenshot to my message, but my contacts were at 59 seconds, then 01, 02, and 03 seconds.  Clearly one contact turned into four by their software.

People say it is because they don't receive your report or other similar things, but that wouldn't account for this.  It's some kind of strangeness in the software they use, and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it is inadvertent.  However, it sure makes your QSO counts misleading.  There are not really dupes, just this group counting one good contact as four.
