Wow, a lot of progress reported! Nicholas, congrats on the DXCC! That's quite impressive for a young man, bumping heads with all the big dogs. And to Ithyca - congrats on the very near DXCC, and the ARRL scholarship!
Earl is closing in on the big DeSoto number, 3000. Bill, you are still coming up even with back surgery, which puts my whining about my relatively minor problems in perspective. Hope everything is doing well.
I was happy with the N5J expedition, mainly with the level of CW activity. I thought I was going to miss them on 20 CW but got a contact near the end. That made 7 bands on CW - really wanted 80, but at first my antenna was giving me trouble, and then the pop-up thunderstorms became a daily event and static levels were terrible. I got 4 new band counters, though, so no complaints.
