Hi Dennis,
The big buzz says they think there could be F layer openings lasting for weeks this fall.  So I would get that beam up if possible!  Probably some of the best conditions we will see in our lifetime?  73 de jay/w5jay..

Boring alert - this isn’t interesting to anyone but me…..   My VHF rotator quit turning and it was a cable problem.  I didn’t look forward to finding the break because the cable goes through a tunnel made of plastic gutters, and then underground.   When I started looking at it, it took about 5 seconds to see where the jacket was cut, right outside the window at ground level.   It was probably a weedeater incident.   Anyway, it’s fixed now except for reinstalling the motor.

It’s a little late in the year to put the 6M yagi back up but that’s probably what I’ll do.  With high sunspot numbers, I wonder if we’ll have any F2 on 6M this fall and winter.   2M isn’t very exciting.   There is very little CW or SSB activity, and I can easily work the same dozen or so stations out to <>400 miles most mornings on FT8.   I don’t plan to put 432 back up either, at least for now

Just got Jarvis on 17M CW - not many callers.  Didn’t hear him well enough on 12 CW to call.

Dennis/RZ
