Greetings ADXA Folks,
Some great news to pass on:
2nd Quarterly Meeting - As previously reported our 2nd Quarter Meeting on June 15 will be virtual via Zoom. I will send the link in the next few days for you to join. We will open the Zoom meeting at 12:30 PM for every one to start “zooming in” and then at 1:00 PM I’m excited to tell you our program will be presented by Carl Luetzelschwab, K9LA, one of the foremost propagation subject matter experts in the world. We know we’re experiencing some outstanding HF propagation in this solar cycle, but what can we expect in the next two years? Carl will explain what he foresees based on current data. Carl has been our guest, in person, at our annual conference in the past and you don’t want to miss his presentation. I look forward to seeing everyone, virtually, on Saturday June 15 beginning at 12:30 PM. Following Carl’s presentation we will have a very short business meeting.
ADXA Annual Meeting & Conference – November 16 will be our annual meeting and conference. The specific location has not yet been finalized but I have some outstanding news – Bernie, W3UR, of The Daly DX and The Weekly DX will be one of our special guests. Bernie has joined us in person before and it is great to have him scheduled to attend once again. Bernie always has great insight into what is and will be in the world of DX. Please block off the afternoon/evening of Friday November 15 and all day Saturday, November 16, in your calendar. More details later as plans finalize. We also have one other special guest we’re working to arrange.
Glenn will have the quarterly newsletter out in a few days. Please read my “From the President” article where I provide a “Year in Review” for 2024. WHAT???? C’mon Harrison we’re just now beginning the month of June so what’s up? Well, read the article when Glenn distributes the newsletter and you will find out.
That’s all for now. Greats things are happening in the world of DX and the Arkansas DX Association. Until then, you know what to do …………………………..
