Well, I'm so glad that SOMEBODY can hear me.  Just as well, since we can't upload to LoTW till at least Monday, according to reports from the floor of Hamvention.  I've seen about twice as many spots on my DX Cluster today compared to yesterday at this time.  Still about 25% of what would be expected.

Ed (N7PHY) called it quits today from the rare grid DN16 in Washington state, about an hour ago.  He had seen too little activity today thanks to the recent CME's that have impacted earth this week.  His plots were very focused during his rove there.  Typically about 10-15 degrees spread in targeted directions at about 1,500 miles.  Occasional bursts of 2,500 miles for a few minutes.

I guess that's why 6m is called "The Magic Band", among other reasons.  Anyway, he said that the GS will be populated several more times this season for those of us that are chasing this sort of DX on 6m.
