Thanks, Chuck. It was a very strange situation. My wife had shingles and ended up with numbness in her left leg which left her temporarily (we hope) unable to walk. I have been doing caretaker duties and not minding since I’m usually home. I wanted to go to the hamfest and she is getting better at maneuvering the walker around our house, so we decided it would be OK. I helped her get dressed, got her breakfast, and was bringing her a cup of tea and the next thing I remember was laying on the floor with tea everywhere.
I’m going to see my doctor tomorrow and maybe we can see what is going on. My blood pressure tends to run low and it could have been a drop in BP that did it. It could also have been glucose. There aren’t any other obvious reasons.
I’ve felt OK afterwards but have a lot of sore muscles from hitting the floor and then a kitchen cabinet. I was really looking forward to the meeting and seeing everyone and bragging about going over 1500 :).
