To members of ADXA, I am sad to report my friend, Bob, K4UEE, famed DXpeditioner, passed away this morning.  He had originally planned to join me at Stan Stockon QTH on Cayman Brac for the ARRL CW DX Contest next weekend…see below

I'm so sad to report that my great friend, Bob, passed away this morning at 7:00 am.  He'd been suffering for several weeks but he passed quietly and without pain.

Services will be at Mount Bethel Methodist Church in Marietta most likely next Thursday, February 15th.  Time and details won't be available until early next week.

Bob was of great service to the DX community having led DXpeditions to more than a dozen rare entities over the years. He left giant shoes to fill.
