Mornin George,

S20MUJ on QRZ.com does not show as a valid callsign.

Here's a theory. Everyone sees false decodes occasionally, many of which contain callsigns for very rare DXCC entities. Some of those false decodes look realistic enough to make people start calling that rare callsign. S20MUJ could have originated as a false decode, and its hash could coincidentally match that of 7O73T. Since S20MUJ would likely elicit calls, it could well multiply by being decoded by a large number of stations whose software installation then interprets 7O73T's hash as then "known" callsign S20MUJ.

The other explanation that comes to mind is a devious scheme to sow chaos, but I don't want to think that that's the case. Maybe there's at least one other plausible explanation that hasn't yet occurred to me?

It has been reported that S20MUJ is a pirate.  Given that, why is he and 7O73T working and giving RR73 to the same station in the proper sequences.  Could it be a bad WSJTx hash and causing the S20MUJ to appear instead of 7O73T?  So is the same station all the time as they seem to appear together most of the time.
