I usually am 100% sure I either worked a station or I didn't.  Yesterday was different.  I called TJ9MD on 20 CW and there were loud SS stations everywhere.  He came back to me but got washed away.  The same thing happened with H40RH on 10 meters and he also had some fast fading on his signal.

I worked TJ9MD on 40 SSB and he came back to W4RZ.  I corrected the call and he just said "Roger, thanks".  So I had to work him again and make sure he got it right.

My personal BIC challenge is on day 48 out of 50, so far so good.  I'll report when it's all done.

The second guy wire vertical is ready, so now I have one favoring 180 degrees, and one favoring 60 degrees.  They have directivity, and the 60 degree antenna receives Europe very well.  Directivity doesn't necessarily mean gain, but I have high hopes.  I couldn't copy A25R on 80 FT8 with anything, though, even though he had lots of callers.  80M is still a work in progress!

7O is tough - no contacts yet.
