Greetings ADXA Folks,
I would like to ask you to PLEASE go to our website and register for our November 11 conference. So far only 14 people have done so. We will need to give our caterer a final guaranteed number on October 27 and pay our final balance (we have already paid a deposit). We have put forth a significant effort to organize the conference and annual meeting and bring in a very active and world renowned DXpeditioner and we need to have an outstanding turnout for the meeting.
I want to personally ask you to please help us out and not procrastinate. We need your assistance to make this happen by registering now so we can move forward and finalize our plans.
Thanks.
I’m catching up on email this morning after being out for a week. Last Thursday I was at K5NA’s in Manor, TX, assisting with the removal of some of his antennas and equipment. Some of you will recall Richard was tragically electrocuted and killed during removal of an antenna back in April. His wife Susan, K5DU, a big DX’er and contester in her own right, is downsizing the multi-op station and in about another year will have all of the towers removed and sell the property. I then headed over to Austin for the W6JKV/K5AND 27th 6-meter BBQ. A big group of around 120 hams (and an additional 20 spouses) attended from all over the USA and about 10 DXCC countries including JW7QIA/LA7QIA, ON4IQ, CE2SV, XE2OR, EA3AKY, TG9AFR, G8BCG and others. On Sunday I headed up to W5LUA’s in Allen, TX, just north of Dallas for two and a half days of tower maintenance and antenna work and drove home yesterday.
Please register for the conference.
