Congrats Pat.  Your success prompted me to create a New WAS Award Account in LoTW and I was surprised that I'm missing only Alaska, Kansas, Maine and Missouri on 6M FT8 . . . without even trying!  I have WAS on 40 and 20M FT8 only.  Phone lags way behind Digital.  My 1960 WAS Award was Mixed.  I didn't quite make it as a rock bound Novice and was trying!

A very hearty congratulations to ADXA VP Pat, W5VY, for achieving 6 meter WAS. He’s been stuck at 49 for a very long time, awaiting the elusive KL7 – Alaska for his last state. He finally nailed that one this week.

 

While a lot of focus is on FFMA these days, some have given up on WAS however it is very achievable. You just must have patience!
