Decent 6 meter opening. Got responses from FK8 and two LU's, didn't complete either. Got the VK. Never saw the CX, saw others calling. Opening here was strange. Saw EM15 guys calling a lot of stuff I never saw print.
I'll take one new one, little short on 6m Q's.

Was trying to call CQ on 10m FT8 and FT4 last night early and there was no place transmit. Full top to bottom of the frequencies. A lot of JAs looking to work HD8 on FT4. Slipped down to 24.910 and found a few JAs calling FM/F4HPX. He had a big signal and came right back to me on regular FT8. I posted to the reflector the contact, and minutes after he was gone. But a new one for FM for me on 12m. Went back to 28MHz and the same, so checked out 6m and saw Argentina and Uruguay calling. Missed the LU stations before they faded and then picked up CX. Furthest southern grid I have made on my few DX contacts on 6. Daniel (CX9AU) is at GF15 (Montevideo)—almost 5,500 miles. He confirmed later that evening.

He faded and then I saw Steve working Australia. Saw him bag two stations and then Bill started working them. But I never heard VK. I have future hopes though :-).

Congrats to those who worked VK last night also! Great propagation!!!
