I don't want to start a big discussion or a complaint thread with this, but the cost of a QSL is a valid topic now that we are actually seeing a high cost for such. It appears 3Y0J is $15 (despite having raised almost $1M) for basically a failed effort and Crozet is $10.

The question at hand is, if ADXA donates $1,000 to a DXpedition (or any donation amount!) should our members receive the same "discount" for a QSL as an individual who contributed and receives if the DXpedition is offering one.

Roger, N5QS, and I had this discussion some time ago, before COVID, then it sort of fell into the noise since there weren't any DXpeditions during that time. It is a valid point now and also a question of whether we should make our donation contingent on our members receiving a discounted QSL cost. I'm not sure how to make that happen, the logistics involved, or even if it is possible.

We'll do some investigation into this and find out what other DX clubs are doing.
