I believe that was the "original" plan EJ, but a week will have passed since they arrived, before they fire up then according to Ken's last info the operation will be scaled back. Then of course they have to dismantle the camp and load back up. So that doesn't leave much operating time.

Now, I'M JUST SPECULATING. I have no inside info and no one else does at this time as to what the actual operating time will be but one thing we all know - the WX on these islands such as Bouvet can and will change quickly to the worst possible condx.The video from the Peter 1 DXpedition is evidence of that!

I just hope they stay safe and fire up for however long they can.
