To be brief:
I apologize to the officers of our ADXA for my being so stupid in not realizing things in our “standings”. I always thought the numbers under each of the 10 bands on our ADXA website were for CURRENT countries confirmed only and that extrapolated to the number in the CHAL column. Boy was I was wrong in my old age thinking. So sorry for bothering our officers for my misunderstandings. When we list our Band Numbers on the No. Cal. DX Club site, you put confirmed current countries only in those 10 slots.. That is where my confusion stems from. Their country slots are for confirmed and our ADXA is for totals including deleted countries bands.
The CHAL column is for current country bands totals and mine is only 2982, not 3090. That is only for the 10 bands listed from 6m to 160m. I do have some VHF countries on 2, 222 and 432 but have not counted them anywhere.
The 3090 is my count if I listed ALL my country bands, deleted or not, under each of the 10 common bands, not including any VHF countries at all.
So my previous 20m count listed as 340 is actually 369, 21mc listed as 329 is really 357, 40m 326 is really 348 etc…. Now I know the our 10 bands listed were for total countries included deleted. The NCDXC is different, allowing only current countries on their 10 band slots, like the CHAL award.
End of story for sure … I appreciate some clarifications from 5 ADXA members. TU so much!👍 At age 80, I do need help on many things and this clarification was one!! Now, back to watching the boat position changes hourly for the 3Y0 Bouvet on their website. As Joel would say, “better get ready for THE chase”.
