The FT8WW logs will be uploaded to Club Log, so you can verify your Q's there. The log from last night has been received by Jean-Michel, F6AJA, but he notes due to family Christmas activities he won't have the log uploaded until tonight his time. So check Club Log later today (USA time).
A little trivia about the callsign as a couple of you have noted it should be "FT5" instead of "FT8". This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the mode, FT8, but is in honor of the first operation from Crozet, "FB8WW" in 1961. FB8 would not be a valid prefix today, thus the "FT8" prefix to be as close to the original operation callsign as possible.
Regarding the FT8 mode, Thierry prefers CW and SSB however he is committed to getting you in the log so he will use whatever mode the propagation supports to facilitate contacts. On FT8, he is running the MSHV program (not the original WSJT-x) so you will see multiple streams from him but he is not running Fox/Hound (F/H) technique. This had several confused last night who were calling during this transmit sequence. As a simple refresher, In WSJT F/H, the fox (DX station) always transmits on the first sequence and the hounds (you, the caller) are automatically set to transmit on the 2nd sequence. So if you are running FT8 with WSJT-x calling Thierry who is running FT8 with the MSHV program do not turn F/H on. Just find a clear DF and start calling on the correct sequence. ALWAYS pay attention to what sequence the DX station is calling on.
OK ADXA folks, you know what to do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
