Merry Christmas to all ADXA folks and your families. This is always a very special time of the year regardless of your religious or political beliefs. Enjoy this time, they are becoming much to short and infrequent in today's world environment.

It was an especially nice Christmas present to have Thierry fire up as FT8WW last night. Our kids and grandkids were here all day yesterday. When they left last night I came in to the shack to turn off the "Santa Tracker" on my Geochron and saw the FT8WW spot and all of a sudden "Santa" took a back seat in the sleigh!! I'm fortunate to have worked Crozet before so it is not an "All Time New One" (ATNO) for me but I do need it on a few bands and 30 meters was one of them. Thierry was doing a very good job working the pileup but remember, lest we get all upset during the fray, he is a one-man DXpedition and he is on the island to work so he won't be on all the bands all the time.

Also, please be cognizant of pirates. This is nothing new. Sadly these jokers and clowns have been around for the more than 50 years I've had my license so just be smart and display your most excellent ADXA operating ethics and techniques. Here is a nice photo of Thierry operating with a Santa hat on!

Kim and I wish you all a very special and peaceful day today!
