He's been running a couple of compound streams and up to 3 single streams at once. That really reduces his signal strength for sure
on each stream. When he does a single, he's -04 or better, but when he does 5, he's down near -24 on each.
Worked him on 20m yesterday and just did on 17m. Charles, just 5 blocks from me, doesn't hear a thing on his new HexBeam that was performing
better than my beam earlier in the week. Others in the area are not hearing him either. Guess it's my turn to have spotty propagation.
Took over 2 hours to get a 6m contact from the rare grid of DL88 this morning. But it will be in the books when he returns home next
week. Only 36 to go there now. Come on Springtime and propagation.
