Ron Lewis, NS5K, from Searcy is spending at least a year in Albania as a missionary.  I got a phone call one minute after the S01WS contact at 1523Z I posted.  He has 200 minutes of International Calling for $15. He told me to say Hi to everyone at our NCAARS Christmas Party tonight.

NS5K made things happen in a hurry having been there only 5 weeks!  He said that money really talks over there. That’s a 3 element 40M and single 20M element at 160’.  He’s been issued ZA15K and is hanging out on 7.195  Phillip, N5PRA, ought to be able to work him with Ron’s old 40M OptiBeam!

Today I went with one of the preachers on a day long visitations. We meet with several people in their homes just to say hello and drop off a basket of food. I was shocked at one of the people’s house we visited. A single parent with 3 girls ages 3-7 living in a 1 bedroom apartment that is not as large as my bedroom. One of the 3 girls has a mental disorder and has to be taken care of 24 hours a day. It made me sick to see how these people have to live. I really want YOU, my friends, to give $10 to help these people. I don’t know how you will donate the money but I will find out in the next couple of days and let you know. Think about it and as soon as I find out how you can get money to the church I’ll let you know. Hey, this isn’t about the church it is about some people that seriously need some help. So please don’t say I don’t go to that church so I’m not giving.
