Well, my brush hog (actually tree hog) guy came yesterday and cleared underbrush and small pine and cedar trees, dead trees, etc from about 2 acres.  Plans are for a collinear stacked Sterba curtain array for 30 meters and a 4 square for 80 and a vertical for 160 with special low noise receive antennas.

This could end up being just a good dipole for 30M, and an inverted-L for 160 and 80, but it will be fun to have trees that I can actually get to and use.

Hmmm looks like W5RZ's climb up the DXCC Challenge ladder among the RSVL gang just got a bit more challenging!

The USPS Informed Delivery email says I have a W5 Bureau envelope in my PO Box this morning along with some junk mail, of course.  When I go to town later, I'll be sure to stop by.  Looks like Christmas is coming a month early.

I used to get Bureau Cards about every 2-3 months, but the past year or so, they've really dropped down.  I guess LoTW has taken over, both good and sad.  However, I do miss all the beautiful cards that I've received.  I'm sitting at over 950 on file now.  When will I reach the 1000 mark?
