George (JJJ), John (BHS) and Charles (K5CS) have indeed become DX'ing monsters.  I've always admired people who do all that record-keeping for the Challenge award, and keeping up with modes, etc.  I've had a good time looking at the old QSL cards and remembering the "good old days".  I need to get my records up to date and then  catch up with George  and John and then I can coast a little.  I do know how to use FT8 so I think I can clean up a lot of the common ones I need that way.  My weakness is on the low bands, though.

Thinking about this caused me to call a local heavy duty bush-hogging company that can clean up several acres behind and beside the house.  I have a lot of 60-70 foot pine trees but there is so much brush and small trees that it is difficult to put up wire antennas.  I kidded George and John about costing me a lot of money, but really, it's something I've wanted to do for a long time.  It's going to be nice for puttering around this winter when the ticks and snakes and yellowjackets are gone.  I can also see a 160 meter inverted-L, an 80 meter wire vertical or array, and some slopers or verticals for 40 and 30 meters.  I should have done that 10 years ago!

I'm proud of my fellow Russellville DX chasers - time for me to get in there and pitch with them, and do my share of giving them a hard time!

Seriously Dennis and all, it's a great thing that you are finally jumping in with both feet.  Lucky for me, I only have 900+ QSL Cards and most are gradually being pushed to the back of the drawer as more and more "old timers" get all their stuff on LoTW.  Most of my stash cards are actually duplicates I've requested via the Bureau because I wanted tangible evidence of that contact, plus many are really nice cards.

I know deep down inside that you are so far ahead of me in so many areas.  I just keep on keeping on and doing what I can.  With my very limited CW skills, I'm a goner on that part.  Plus, FT has made me and so many others, really lazy as well.  I remember when I was on 10m (my only real band for a long time), I wore out the foot switch (for a tattoo needle) or VOX and many microphone "pop" filters.  My voice was gone many Monday's when I went back to work and had to talk, I didn't even try to explain why.

As for you Honor Roll plaque, I can only wish for that one.  Maybe I can polish some luck off of yours, you recon?  Like the genie from the bottle, 3 wishes.
Seriously,  I hope everyone knows that I will do anything I can to support anyone that wants to tackle whatever they seek, even knowing that I will be the ultimate "loser".  It only makes me try harder.

Thanks, Joel and Bill  - I’ll do it that way. I discovered another box of cards to go through.  This is going to be a process.

George - thanks not so much :).  Don’t worry, I’m not in any danger of catching up with you and John anytime soon….   I’ll be in the hunt, though, when I’m not polishing my Honor Roll #1 plaque - haw haw!

That pretty much sums it up, Dennis do NOT NOT ask those two wingnuts in Russellville !!!!!!!  :-)))

Sort them as a whole by band, no need to separate by callsign since you are one in the same.

If you ask me or John, just file them in 13.  No problems for us.

I have my QSL cards better organized now and have some to submit for the Challenge award.  I have some for my former call, WA5IIS, and some for my current call, and I have not been able to find anything about this in the DXCC instructions.

My original DXCC certificate was issued to WA5IIS and I switched to W5RZ in the late 70's.  Can I just mix the cards together, sorted as a whole by band and mode?  Or do I need to keep them separate?
