Hi Lanny and gang,
I was bored and just got off of 80m AM. So I waited for the TY0RU on 30m to come up on signal strength. At first saw them every other print cycle. I saw many of the guys calling the 3C3CA, but no print of that operation today. Yesterday around 0100 to 0200 I saw the 3C3, but only barely. Took a long time to work the TY0RU, but when I started on 30m they were -20 and when they got up to -15 is when I got the call. By then I was seeing all 4-5 streams.
After that Kathy went down to 15m to work the TY0RU. They had problems like Rory was talking about yesterday. Just calling you once and done. Once I saw them fire up Multi stream on the main watering hole of 21.074 and then they were gone. I looked up to help Kathy and notice he was not giving anyone a RR73. Just a signal report, then the next call/signal report.
Weird how some are such great ops, while other struggle with their setups.
K5VR and I were chasing them on 80m just now, 0249 UTC. At first Stan had a good copy, but nothing here at my QTH. So I then went to the receiving loop and played with the diversity some. Bingo that did the trick. Wish I had tried that on the D60. I love the Icom, but the SDR has so much better NR and NB system.

W5JAY worked TY0RU on 10.131 F/H. Working JA and EU primarily. I’ve been trying!
I see 3C3CA working the same frequency, but not decoding here.
