You are lucky Bill and QJ….

   When I put my 7600 Icom to the FM (or AM) position, all comes up silent and there is no forward power and SWR readings at all. The instruction book does not tell me how to at least LISTEN to AM or FM station, tho you can understand AM in the SSB mode selection.

   I wanted so much to at least listen above 29MC but just no sound at all on the FM or AM selection. ☹ Not sure if other Icom 7600 users have same situation.. Funny thing is no AM or FM was ever intended to be used by me, but when I DID want to try…. NO sound . Must be a special setting to allow AM or FM to be heard but I can’t find it. It should come up automatically. I worked on the situation for an hour… no direction on what to do for a silence on FM/AM… ugggh

   CU guys perhaps during an ADXA end of year annual event.

Then I worked EA5PM on 29.29o FM... Spain isn't special to big time DXers, but, again FM DX is interesting.
