J Setcer helped me about how to turn the RF gain alll the way down to get FM and AM stations. It works fine but minimal signals coming in on FM from Africa. Can hear the D60 using the SSB setting and RF gain set upwards, although he is on FM but not worth calling with my high SWR up about 29MC and not able to use an amp there. Learned something today I knew a few years ago about the 10 meter band if way up high in freq.. Most require some tuner assist if WAY up above about 28.7 -29.0 range, unless tuned to 1:1 at about 28.700 initially.
