Strange Rick was on FT4 from VP5 but I could only call and work him when I was on FT8 and many others were calling on FT16  for some reason. Others did not know we were in the upper portion of SSB part of 60m channel 5. Gosh, it gets confusing…. 😊

   Hey, I just checked and I did not need VP5 for an ATNO anyway! Shucks. Wasted my time so now I will go to bed. And, I had to go outside to work Rick on my mobile rig in my truck. Luckily my KW old amp got thru on the FT mode system which can only copy strong signals from what I hear.. Hmmm

  Think I will stick to double SSB mode which went away many years ago.. Only a few old timers are on that mode. No DXpeditions use Double SSB mode nowadays. Oh well, it’s just a hobby I am told!
