Yes those changes and updates and the very frequent program crashes are frustrating. The 110A does get through when I can barely copy some stations.
My primary reason for being in MARS is due to being the Cleveland County ARRL EC. I was very heavy into the NTS, managed the Oregon state net then the region 7 RN7 net and was a regular PAN NCS and TCC station. Very sad to see the demise of the CW traffic nets.

I did Army MARS from ‘73 until around 2019 and did 110A also.. Fascinating mode but I got tired of the constant updates, password changes, etc., so I “retired” from MARS after nearly 45 years. It began to feel like working in ITSupport than radio!

I’m still CW only except for AFMARS which is USB and M110A digital. I just don’t see the challenge in using FT8 to make contacts, but that’s because I’m officially an old fart having been a ham for 62 years.
