Joel had asked about goals. I am working on finishing 5BDXCC. I have 58 QSOs on 80m and just need to complete that band. I rehung my 80m wire yesterday. It’s the lowest 80m wire to the ground, but does slope up 20ft into the trees on one side. I added about eight new ones this spring when I had it up before. I am looking forward to a good 80m season coming up. Need to get my 40m wire back up also!
I received a LOTW QSL for 5T5PA on 12m this morning for a QSO the end of the March. I now have him on all bands 80-10m except 30m. Johannes always has a strong station and lately has been working the station remotely, but he did return to Mauritania a few days ago for the Lighthouse weekend.
I now have 936 on Challenge. Hope to reach 1,000 perhaps by the end of the year or early next year.
My yard project is coming to a close. Just need to do the final grade, put down a little topsoil and reseed the grass when things dry out again. So hope to be on the air more as we come into fall.
Glad to see so many new hams join ADXA and to see their accomplishments. Welcome to all.
