Tnx report on Huntsville. I missed this year owing to my flying back from out west. For those who have not attended Huntsville, it is a great event and for those of us in central or east Arkansas its a pleasant drive over and you can sked a stop in Muscle Shoals and tour the Alabama Music Hall of Fame ("Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers", right?").
As Pat noted the North Alabama DX Club always has a first class dinner and high profile speaker. ADXA usually has good representation each year. So plan to go next year if you haven't.

Our newest Member, Dennis, W9DCT, has provided his DXCC Standings info. Dennis is off to a great start with DXCC on 20, 17 and 15M. Welcome to ADXA Dennis and thanks for providing your standings info. As Joel, W5ZN, mentioned the bands are warming up for the fall DX season.
I attended the Huntsville Hamfest a couple of weekends ago. Good attendance and lots of vendors. Along with Rick, K5UR and David, K5UZ, I represented ADXA at the North Alabama DX Club’s Hamfest Banquet. Ward Silver, N0AX, was the guest speaker and presented a great program on the history of the Yasme Foundation. Rick, K5UR, won the “DX Standdown” with 371. Rick was asked to explain how he got to “371”. Rick did a great job with a brief history of his DXCC journey. His secret to success is to “Listen, Listen, Listen”. Rick thanked the club for their hospitality but cautioned that “In a Pileup…I don’t like you”! Surprisingly, no one asked Rick if he still had his VOMAX speech processor?
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Russellville on Sept 14th.
73,
Pat, W5VY
