As a follow up to my previous email about 20 meters loaded with VK's and ZL's, I'm sitting here listening to VK6ZO in Perth working Warren, VK0WN at Casey Station Antarctica. Brought back memories of the first Antarctica station I heard on amateur radio. I was at Jim Crowley's, W5IRG, around 1974 or so....you old dog ADXA folks will remember Jim in Hazen. Jim had a Collins S-Line (or maybe a KWM-2) and a quad and the sig was boomin' in. Of course on the Collins the audio sounded fabulous!
