Rory, glad you got that fixed. There is almost always an answer to a LOTW question. There is a forum that is helpful. I’ve gotten used to LOTW. Everyone is short of people and money.I was at Lowe’s today, self checkout closed and one register operational.I can remember the days of no internet, no cell phones, manual typewriters and QSL cards in the mail, no posting of logs so you didn’t really know if they got you or not.I’m willing to put up with the vagaries of LOTW.I hope you’re doing well. We’re pulling for you.Steve, QQOn Aug 16, 2022, at 1:59 PM, Rory Bowers <[email protected]> wrote:Rick Hall, K5GZR came up with a perfect answer in the FFMA forum. The part of the puzzle I (we?) are missing is a "one time request to ARRL staff to link our VUCC and LOTW accounts". I thought I had done this years ago but maybe not. I am in hot pursuit!!73,Rory, K5CKS______________________________________________________________On Tue, Aug 16, 2022 at 1:30 PM WB5JJJ <[email protected]> wrote:I noticed this some time back. I, too, was perplexed and contacted ARRL for an explanation.Their answer was something like, since there was no corresponding LoTW upload from the QSL Card station, LoTW could not show confirmation. I had to manually enter "verified" in my log to clear this up. After doing that, it now shows correctly in GridTracker.Their explanation sorta makes sense, but how difficult would it be to not only enter YOUR information from the card and THEIRS as well at the same time? That would solve the problem as they are in reality verifying the contact, but only "half a$$" at best.Am I missing something here?73'sGeorge - WB5JJJ

So I have found a dozen or so things to do to stay occupied and I have found one to be most perplexing. This may affect some of you that spend a lot of time on 6M and up.
I recently sent in a batch of QSL cards to VUCC to be checked and added to my account. That was fine and the grids worked now show up in my VUCC account. The downfall is that they do NOT show up as "confirmed" in LOTW. This has created a situation where in GridTracker can't find the confirmed QSO and still shows the grid as "unconfirmed". Why doesn't a VUCC confirmed QSO appear as confirmed in LOTW?? This seems so wrong!73,Rory, K5CKS
