Good day all.

With the difficulties recently being experienced with the VoIP HamShack Hotline (HH), and after the "dismissal" of 5 of their top developers/engineers/support people, I have begun migrating to the VoIP Hams over IP (HoIP) to join with those "discharged cowboys" that have banded together and taken on the HoIP project.  HoIP has all of the features of HH, and even more.

On HoIP, I have created an ARVARF (Arkansas River Valley Amateur Radio Foundation) Conference Bridge (party line) for ARVARF members and am inviting ADXA members to join us as we all chase DX real-time via HoIP.  And of course, the 6m FFMA chase is on as well.  As this is a PRIVATE room, I will give you a PIN number for access.

Setup is a bit more user involved than HH, but you get TEN (10) seats with just one Line request.  If you have more than one phone, all of your phones will ring when someone calls your number using the supplied information from HoIP's email.  All of the user numbers are just 6 digits long.

You will first need to set up an account at https://www.hamsoverip.com.  And when that's approved the next step is to request a line.  To do this, you will need a DMR ID (easy to get if you don't have one), or a copy of your FCC license and the Lat/Lon of your station.  Once you have your number and password from HoIP, I have created a document that will walk you through step-by-step, the setup on your Cisco SPA525G2 phone.  With some insight, these steps may work with several other Cisco phones as well.  Just email me for the document when you are ready.

If you would like more information, just drop me an email, call me on HH at 4969, or on HoIP at 100105, if you have either VoIP services available.
