Bill,
If K5GO finally clears his bureaucratic hurdles & gets his new tower installed down there you guys will surely smash that record again next year.

Chuck,

Thank you so much – we appreciated the moral support!!!  It has been that way for the last three years we have crossed swords with them, hi, hi,  Nothing in 2021 for we four because of COVID, but in 2019 we came in second to them…we were at PJ6A with less than optimal antennae, beat them from ZF5T in 2020, Stan and his son operating remotely beat them again in 2021(Bob and I hated to not be able to come down) but missed the world record (which the V3 guys held from 2013) and then….YEA! we took the record AND first place from them this year….

Robert, K5PI, their team leader was with us at TX7T and TX5T and is a good guy and a hell of a CW op, but we were just lucky and with Stan’s terrific station, we got ‘em again….  😊

I think there may be a lot of GRRRRRRRR from their end, hi!

I was very pleased when I got my QST  to see the results of the February ARRL International DX CW contest!  Stan, K5GO/ZF9CW hosted Bob, K4UEE, and me to work Multi-op, Single transmitter, Low power from his beautiful QTH on Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands as ZF5T.  We were very ably assisted by Stan’s son, Kevin, N5DX, who operated, remotely from Siloam Springs.  We only had one little computer glitch, but Stan was able to program my laptop so that we lost very little time.

Scores:

First place:           ZF5T – 5,898,465

Second place:     V3T -    5,838,546

We only won by 59,919 points but it was enough not only for first place this year but, for a new World Record by just over 200,000 points. 😊 Details and pix on my QRZ.com page.  Conditions have definitely improved.  10 meters seemed to be a big difference!
