This is a B I G book. I just started it and have skipped through a lot of the beginning of it but it is fascinating to read how Dick, KV4AA helped Danny Weil become a ham and
travel the world on his sailboat, YASME! (start with page 30). I remember going across the street to my Elmer’s house, W5EUQ – now, W5UQ and working Dick, KV4AA, in maybe late 1955 for my first St. Thomas, American Virgin Islands contact…Dick was on 20 CW
EVERY SINGLE DAY, then). Great memories!!
I will keep going to read more about the individual DXpeditions of Danny and how he got involved with Lloyd and Iris
