This is most useful, George. Thank you!

Subject: [ADXA] "Noise" solution is easy
I heavily filter several "developer groups" I'm in that have just way too much information passing back and forth that I find as "noise". I still see what I really want to see with the "noise" all filtered out. When I want to review what's going on in those groups overall, I just check my Trash folder and read till my curiosity is satisfied.
Now some DX updates:
I'm about 20 points away from my next update to the ADXA status board for Challenge Points across all bands and modes. Still no new DXCC, but those will be harder to come by since my efforts right now are focused on 6m while it's open. And I still need a bunch (38) for 6m DXCC and only Alaska for 6m WAS, and I saw him the other day. The Alaska stations tell me that when they get on, all they hear is Asia calling them and drowning out the Lower 48 calls.
Here's some noise of my own:
I just got 4 new grids confirmed on 6m using various digital modes this past week. Up to 408 out of 488 for the FFMA now.
I noticed a new addition to that FFMA milestone, a DXCC of sorts, just this week. Congrats to them.
There are about 12 grid squares that are almost impossible to get, like North Korea is. One in Texas is only about 100 acres of "quicksand" along the Mexican border - better to find a XE operating on his side instead of a US station, which still counts. And several others are like the White Cliffs of Dover in the UK that are vertical rock faces down to the ocean.
6m has been somewhat open recently, and thanks for all the "noise" postings about spotting and working all the somewhat rare DXCC, especially those on digital modes since SSB, RTTY and CW are really down right now due to lousy band conditions. Last I checked, digital contacts still count. Remember the outcry about SSB from the CW and AM folks back in the 60's and 70's?
