That"s a great idea!

She can have the only multi-level clothes dryer on the block.

I am very happy to see that at least a few guys on here have a sense of humor.

Sometimes I go for days thinking CRUD, Those guys are too serious about having fun.

My thinking is, Buy some clothes pins. Leave it low enough that your Wife can hang clothes on it to dry.

I have my hex in a temporary location until I can decide on a permanent spot through experimentation. We just past the dogwood bloom season, so it brought me delight to look out the kitchen window and see the hex with the dogwood in the background. So far, the 10' mast in the stump (with a bucket full of sand wedging it in place) is proving to be an excellent location with little elevation needed. I tie it off on a branch stub on the side of the stump which prevents it rotating in the wind.

I've been turning the hex with gloved hands. Sometimes it is still very difficult to turn in the wind.

The other night, I was listing to some Caribbean hams talking, and they were discussing their hesitancy about spending the money for a Yaesu rotator, and one of them said, "Right, you just go outside and turn it with a pipe wrench?"

Well, I bought me a new rotator yesterday at Harbor Freight for $10.50 with 20% coupon--a nice lightweight, dedicated aluminum pipe wrench! Works great!!!

                    Homebrew is fun!
