ADXA Folks,

As ADXA President I want to respectfully request we not migrate into a political discussion about the Russian invasion of Ukraine here on our reflector. There are several other forums you can participate in for that purpose.

We each have a personal position on this matter. I certainly do and if you're interested in it I will gladly discuss it with you but not here and not via any amateur radio related media. There is absolutely nothing that requires you to contact any station you feel uncomfortable communicating with.

Amateur radio has always been a place where we could go to get away from our personal struggles and the world problems and clear our mind enjoying amateur radio, whatever part of its vast offerings you enjoy participating in. Sure, there are political debates and arguments on the ham bands, especially if you tune across 75 meters, but you do not have to listen to those, unless you want to, and you can tune away to another frequency.

So I implore you to please keep it that way within ADXA and on our reflector and let's continue to pursue amateur radio as an avenue away from world politics.

73 Joel W5ZN
ADXA President
