Well, I worked SV2RSG/A last evening on 40m F/H.  It was a fairly easy catch.  However, I learned things after the contact that I found interesting.  OK, I might be slow and behind the times on this, but still.  So flame me if you must, my CO2 fire extinguisher is at the ready.

1) If you work SV2RSG/A, it will come up as Mt Athos, at least in my HRD LB.
2) If you work SV2RSG, it will come up as Greece, again in HRD LB.
3) He has two different QSL Cards as well.

During my time on 40m last night, I watched several folks work him as SV2RSG and he responded to them without the /A.  I'm sure they were thinking they were working Mt Athos.  But NO, even though they are physically the same station (Mt Athos), they are logged differently.

Also, he does not do LoTW and only accepts QSL cards through a handler nearby.  Apparently his handler supposedly uploads to ClubLog, but I found no such entries for either call.

BTW, if you are in the area of Mt Athos with your XYL and you decide to visit, she will not be allowed to enter the "territory" of Mount Athos.  Their laws prevail over those of Greece.

Tell him to get off that darn computer and grab a key. He would be a great multiplier in the CW contest.
