Congratulations, Nick!

Like Rory, I got my novice in 1971 (WN5FMK)  so I hit 50 years last September.

And last night I saw the DXCC desk completed my recent 10m DXCC application making it official for the “traditional” 5BDXCC, and along with 30 and 17 already completed, that puts me at 7 bands.

It wasn’t until the last few years did I even work on specific bands. So, it only took me 50 years, 3.5months to get 5BDXCC!

Now to figure out a way to get 160 (think I’m at 45 on an inverted vee) and at 71 on 12 (just waiting for the bands to keep improving).

With retirement coming March 1, I hope to be around the radio more during “normal working hours”!

And then there’s 6 to go after!

73,

Stan
